I read an earlier review claiming they think someone at the Vet office writes all the reviews. Well I don't work there, I just had a great experience.
My experience at this office is one I hope no other pet lover has to go through. After months of trying everything plausible with another vet we made the heart-wrenching decision to put down our beloved 12 yr old fur baby. Our vet charges a lot for the euthanization so we turned to this office based on their reviews & over-the-phone quoted price. They only do this service at the end of the day so we arrived at 4:55 as instructed. Upon arrival the waiting room was packed & no seats were available so we had to stand & hold our sick dog. We continued to stand and hold our dog for ONE HOUR!! This is already an emotionally strenuous situation. An hour long wait was torture. When it was finally our turn the doctor came out and proceeded to question our reasons for being there. He left us feeling guilty and broken, making us explain all the things we had done and suggesting we hadn’t done enough! He then walked away and we waited some more. I asked if I could prepay for the service so we could didn’t have to re-enter the lobby afterward. I was told I could but at that moment th nurse called us back. I explained that I was almost finished making the payment and she suggested my husband go back without me! I said, “no, we want to both go back, I just need one minute to sign the receipt”. However, as this was happening I was surprised with an extra $40 fee ABOVE what I was already quoted! I questioned the cost and was given a bunch of reasons that were NEVER discussed before hand. At this point it was too late to change our minds so I just paid the extra money. Once in the back room things proceeded as expected. However, the amount of time our frightened dog spent laying on the table having her leg shaved, prepped, and an IV placed broke our hearts. She was so scared & shaky by the time they finally got around to why we were there! All in all this was a very horrible experience and I will NEVER go back to this Very UNCARING Vet. If you love your animals I suggest you also go somewhere else.
Simply amazing staff and doctor! They became out Vet office today. Our dog was really sick and we were scared not having a clue what was wrong. We call our vet's office and explained what was happening. We were told "oh the soonest we can get you in would be Monday" two days, are you serious! So we hung up and called A Caring Vet. Explained how sick our dog was and was told they could get us in at 4:30 but if you feel like you need to come right now we will get you in no matter what. My wife said "are you serious, you would do that?" Keep in mind we had never been there before. The office said our pets are family even kids for some, yes if you're concerned we will get her into see the doctor. Good bye Temp. Animal clinic and A CARING VET became our NEW veterinary clinic instantly. We went at 4:30 the staff and doctor we're great. They did a complete exam and figured out what was happening with our dog. They went through the treatment and cost throughly. This is the perfect Vet office.
I have been taking my cat here for almost over a year now. This clinic has three doctors, all of which have seen my cat at one time or another, and they've all been very helpful and so patient with my very nervous kitty. We've always been greeted by friendly staff who take the time to keep us informed of what they do to/give him and answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
This place is amazing! I take my rabbit there and there is always a little bit of a wait but the results are worth it! The staff is very nice and very knowledgeable. Dr. Hansen is absolutely amazing with Rosie and he really is a Caring Vet. She hates being picked up and one time wouldn't let us take her out of her carrier so he suggested we take the top of the carrier totally off and just leave her in there so she wouldn't feel as stressed. He's so patient and understands that animals get nervous and scared and does his best to help them stay calm and happy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking for the perfect vet!
The group at caring vet is fantastic!! I'd been searching for a vet for awhile. I was having trouble finding a trustworthy team that treated my dog with patience and care like everyone at caring vet did. I loved the more relaxed atomsphere, it really helped my dog who is an anxious guy very nervous about vets. Great team I would definitely recommend going here!
